Dundee United manager Gordon Chisholm could be on the way out of United if his team don’t beat Dunfermline this weekend.

United are struggling badly this season and a defeat agains the Pars on Saturday could mark the end of Chisholm’s reign as Utd boss.

The United chairman Eddie Thompson said last week that he expects United to start climbing the table and get into the top six but defeat against Livingston last weekend didn’t do Chis any favours and it now looks like the end for him.

Kilmarnock manager Jim Jeffries has already been linked with the post but it’s understood that Killie have just offered their manager a new deal.

Richard Gough could be a possibility, Gough hasn’t been working since leaving Livingston last season.
