Cardiff City were rumoured to be attending this weekend`s Dundee United match, to take a closer look at club captain Barry Robson.
However, it now looks more likely that Cardiff manager Dave Jones is after goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski.
Szamotulski signed a short-term deal which will keep him at Tannadice until the 31st of January, but a clause in his contract allows him to leave if he agrees a deal with a new club.
The talented Polish keeper has been an inspiration to Dundee United, since joining on loan from Sturm Graz when 1st choice goalie Lukasz Zaluska broke a bone in his foot during the pre-season build-up.
Celtic, Hearts and Hibs have already been linked with a move for Szamotulski, but there is speculation that several English sides are also considering a move for the 31-year-old keeper.
